‘…unbridled soul and passion…’ – The Coast

‘Crows’ is the ‘springboard’ album released by Lupins in 1996. Crows attracted attention throughout Canada and helped earn a spot at 1997’s South By Southwest Conference in Austin, TX. Former Santana drummer and musical pioneer Michael Shrieve happened to catch the set in support of Crows and ended up producing and playing drums on the 1998 album Ten Bulls, which also featured the guitar skills of Bill Frisell.

Although almost nearing it’s 25th year since release, Crows seems to still resonate for new listeners and for those who attend shows.
